This site has been developed to document my exploration of this powerful guitar tool. For many years I have been a tube purist using and building vintage circuits for my tone. I still use these tube amps, but everyday I discover another reason the Axe-FX II could be the future of guitar in today's modern gigging and recording situations.
Below you will find recordings of patches I've built into my unit as well as the patch download for you to experiment. Be sure to understand that each patch is built to my guitar's specs and sound, so each will have to be adjusted to better match your personal rig.
All recordings done with the Axe-Fx II recording direct to Garageband™ for the Mac Computer unless noted.

My collection of guitars may not be large, but its quality over quantity. A pair of early 70s strats, a Mexican Tele with a killer Bridge pickup and a 1971 Les Paul to round it off.

How you monitor your Axe-Fx rig is a critical step in getting good tones. I personally go with a home stereo route for my setup. Using a vintage Hi-Fi stereo and high quality Tower speakers is intended to generate a listening environment close to what I would use to listen to great music.
For live playing, I use the Atomic CLR Wedge. Currently I only use one, but may soon upgrade to a seond for stereo imaging.
